From 2017-2022, I worked as an Engineering Program Manager on the Apple Watch Accessories team. Over the course of my tenure, I shipped over 200 unique product SKUs and led international cross-functional teams to ideate, prototype, problem solve, and ultimately mass produce new Apple products. Across time zones and calls at all hours of the day, this collection represents a brief snapshot of the collective effort required to successfully develop new products and execute delivery on a global scale.
APPLE WATCH ULTRA
ALPINE LOOP
Designed for performance, the Apple Watch Ultra is built for extreme environments, elevations, and temperatures.
The Alpine Loop is light, durable, and made from two textile layers seamlessly woven into one continuous piece without stitching. The corrosion‑resistant titanium G‑hook slips smoothly into the reinforced loops for a secure fit.
BRAIDED SOLO LOOP
Each Braided Solo Loop band features a unique, stretchable design that’s ultracomfortable and easy to slip on and off your wrist. Created by weaving 16,000 recycled polyester yarn filaments around ultrathin silicone threads using advanced, precision-braiding machinery, then laser cutting the band to an exact length for a custom fit. The band offers a soft, textured feel and is both sweat and water resistant.
Designed to provide an ultracomfortable fit that feels tailor-made to your wrist, the Braided Solo Loop band is available in a remarkable 12 sizes! This presented huge challenges from engineering to operations and also required us to devise a simple wrist measurement system for customers, as this was the first time Apple introduced such a wide range of sizes for any product category.
MILANESE LOOP
A modern interpretation of a design developed in Milan at the end of the 19th century. Woven on specialized Italian machines, the smooth stainless steel mesh wraps fluidly around your wrist. Secured with a custom magnetic closure, the Milanese Loop is infinitely adjustable, ensuring a perfect fit. An additional physical vapor deposition (PVD) layer gives the gold stainless steel its distinctive finish.
SPORT LOOP
& NIKE
PARTNERSHIP
We designed the double layer nylon weave for movability, and collaborated with Nike to launch both Apple and Nike-branded Sport Loop bands.
Breathable and lightweight, the Sport Loop is designed for fitness. A hook-and-loop fastener makes for quick and easy adjustment, and dense loops on the skin side provide soft cushioning while allowing moisture to escape. On the reverse side, the attachment loops are securely anchored for superior durability.

BLACK UNITY
Braided Solo Loop
Designed by Black creatives and allies at Apple to celebrate Black history and culture, the Black Unity Braided Solo Loop is inspired by Afrofuturism, a philosophy that explores the experience of the African Diaspora through a narrative of science, technology, and self-empowerment. It honors generations of Black people who have been seen and unseen, and symbolizes the necessity for a more equitable world.
Featuring the colors of the Pan-African flag, the band is created by weaving 16,000 recycled polyester yarn filaments around ultrathin silicone threads using advanced precision-braiding machinery, then laser-cutting the band to an exact length for a custom fit. It offers a soft, textured feel and is both sweat and water resistant. The band is complemented by the Unity Lights watch face, with clock hands emitting light that changes dynamically throughout the day. The lugs are laser-etched with “Black Unity”.
